I had never tried acupuncture before, I didn't know that it actually works! A year ago my back hurt so much that I felt constantly tired that I thought I had a sleep disorder. I went to my doctor who sent me to sleep doctor and then prescribed muscle relaxants and also sent me to a physical therapist but they did not help. A coworker recommended Acupuncture of Orlando and I decided to give it try. After a few treatments my back started to feel better. My energy came back and now I don't feel tired anymore. I’ve had Bells Palsy for a year and a half. From the onset I started acupuncture with a DIFFERENT doctor. It unfortunately provided no relief of symptoms. I decided to try acupuncture again because Dr Zakia was just highly recommended to me. I started treatment two weeks ago and I’m already seeing improvement! At the onset of BP, May 2023, I had tremendous hope that I would fully recover. At the one year mark my hope slowly started to diminish. I visited Acupuncture of Orlando once again, this time due to pain in my Aquiles tendon, a neck pain that came back, and a cyst that appeared on my wrist.
